Promises Auction
Fundraising for Ghana 2018 trip.
!! ONLINE AUCTION ENDS FRIDAY 18 MAY !!
In July 2018, 18 of our Year 10 pupils will be travelling to Ghana with African Adventures to volunteer as teaching assistants, sports coaches and building and renovation workers. All of their work will be carried out in unfunded government schools in a rural fishing and agricultural community near the south coast. All projects will involve working closely with the school staff and local community.
To help raise funds, we are holding an online Promises Auction which will run until Friday 18 May. There is a wide variety of items available, from a weekend stay in Bath, free range duck and hen eggs for 4 weeks, firewood, a handmade Ghanaian quilt, completion of homework for a week and much more!

All proceeds from the Ghana 2018 Promises Auction will go towards funding the pupils’ trip and their work with the local communities in Ghana. The auction ends on Friday 18 May 2018. |
2018 is the second year that we are running this amazing opportunity for our Year 10 pupils, and a team of pupils currently in Year 9 are already formed for the Ghana 2019 trip. Why Ghana?
