Cirencester Deer Park School

Cirencester Deer Park School

Charity

Pupils at Deer Park take an active and ambitious approach to charity work and quickly build an understanding that some people need more help than others across the world. As an outward facing international school that is firmly rooted in the local community, we encourage pupils to take every opportunity to involve themselves in events that benefit others and that help increase their understanding of life in Modern Britain, as well as life in a global community.

The School Council, along with members of staff, propose and select the charities that we support and these change regularly. The school generally supports three charities at a time, including a local one, a national one and an international one.

As a school community, pupils are very keen to donate money to charities, often raising £100’s a year for good causes. The school also supports national Charity events and holds three non-uniform days a year in support of good causes.
