Christmas Bazaar

Christmas Bazaar on Sunday 17 December

Our three Ghana 2024 volunteer teams of Year 10 and Year 11 pupils and teachers are holding a fundraising Christmas Bazaar on Sunday 17 December 2023, 12-5pm, in the Main Hall.

There will be musical entertainment, mince pies, mulled wine, Santa's grotto, raffle, crafts and more. Most stall holders will be taking cash.

Would you like to sing a song (or two)?
We are offering the opportunity to Sing a Song (or two) in front of the stage, at the Christmas Bazaar for £2 a song. Instrumentalists also welcome. This will be an informal performance in the Main Hall whilst people wander the stalls and enjoy the festivities.  Each song will cost you £2. Book a slot. Payment for songs will need to be made on the day, cash only.

Would you be interested in running a stall?
In addition to stalls being run by our Ghana 2024 pupils, we are still taking stall bookings from members of the local community. If you would like to hire a table to sell your art, crafts, products etc, please get in touch by completing this form. Each table will cost £10 (cash payment on arrival, no cards). If you have any questions, please email ghana2024@deerparkschool.net. We look forward to hearing from you.

Background:
In June 2024, three teams of Deer Park pupils currently in Year 10 and Year 11 will be travelling on a two-week volunteering trip to Ghana, organised with African Adventures. The trip is an amazing opportunity for our young people to not only develop their own skills but also, as teaching volunteers or community builders, to help people less fortunate than themselves.
