In Autumn 2023 we are holding two Open Mornings and an Open Evening. These events are open to everyone and do not require pre-booking.

Open Mornings Open Evening 2023

OPEN MORNINGS on Tuesday 19 September 2023 and Monday 2 October 2023
9.15am – 11.00am
(arrival between 9.10am and 9.30am)

Richard Clutterbuck, Headteacher, looks forward to welcoming parents and prospective pupils to the School’s Open Mornings. He will be joined by key members of the school’s leadership team.  While the school will be operating as normal, there will be opportunities for you to tour the school in the company of existing pupils who will not only act as guides but will also reflect on their experiences and learning at the school. Our tours will begin promptly between 9.15am and 9.30am from the Main Hall as visitors arrive. You will see the school in action and learn how we support pupils to be safe, happy and successful through our values of trust, kindness and determination.  You will be able to engage in further discussion with staff and pupils. Once your guided tour has been completed, your pupil guide will take you back to the rear of the school where members of the school’s leadership team and other staff will be on hand at our Information Point next to the car park to respond to any questions you may have regarding the transition to and learning at Deer Park. There will be no formal presentation during the Open Mornings and all visitors will be off site by 11.00am.

OPEN EVENING 'Festival of Learning' on Wednesday 27 September 2023
5.30pm – 8.00pm
(arrival between 5.30pm and 6.45pm)

Cirencester Deer Park School’s ‘Festival of Learning’ Open Evening provides a further exciting opportunity for prospective pupils and their parents to visit the school together. During the evening you will be invited to tour the school, engage in ‘hands on’ and immersive family learning and participate in extra-curricular activities. You will be able to talk to our Heads of Faculty, subject teachers and support staff to learn more about our curriculum, the challenges and support available. In 3 repeat presentations during the evening at 5.40pm, 6.20pm and 7.00pm in the Main Hall, Headteacher Richard Clutterbuck and his team, including current pupils, will present their vision for learning at the school and share Deer Park’s commitment to ‘being the best we can be, every day’. Refreshments will be provided by The Friends of Cirencester Deer Park School in the school’s Atrium.
