Friends of Cirencester Deer Park School end of year update

The Friends of Cirencester Deer Park School would like to thank all parents/carers who have provided help and support throughout what has been a very challenging year in terms of fundraising. They are very grateful to those who have kindly donated school uniform, and to all the volunteers who have helped out at their second-hand uniform sales – the last sale raised over £600!

Despite not being able to hold many of the usual fundraising events this academic year, the Friends' efforts to raise vital funds for school projects have continued, and they are pleased to announce that they have been able to fund the purchase of six new outdoor benches thanks to a grant from the Jack Lane Charitable Trust and money raised by the Friends.

The Friends have also recently agreed to fund an online safety newsletter for parents and to part fund a new high jump mat for the PE Faculty, as well as new equipment for the school’s Horticulture course. They continue to raise money to improve outdoor spaces in collaboration with the school.

Currently, you can support Friends of Cirencester Deer Park School in the Tesco Community Grant Scheme in all local Tesco branches in Cirencester. Every time you visit a store, just pop your blue tokens in the large Perspex box. The more tokens we receive, the more money will go towards improving the school’s outdoor spaces. So, every token helps!
