Announcement by Prime Minister on Monday 4 January 2021
Regrettably, following the Prime Minister's announcement this evening, Monday 4 January 2021, and the instruction to stay at home, we are postponing the COVID-19 tests for pupils in Year 11 this week. We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause.
As you are aware, staff had an in-service training day today and we are all looking forward to meeting our classes online. Remote learning will proceed from tomorrow as planned. Please check your timetables.
More information will follow tomorrow, Tuesday 5 January 2021.
MASS TESTING
Thank you to Miss Brace, Assistant Head, and members of our support staff team for training today, Monday 4 January, in preparation for the roll out of mass testing in schools originally planned for this week. A tremendous effort and great achievement: all systems in place and 49 staff tested. Well done.
