Transport Questions

Travelling to school

A large number of buses carry pupils to and from school each day. Those who live in the catchment area but more than 3 miles away usually receive a free bus pass from the LEA. Those who are not eligible for free transport, and that includes most children who live outside the catchment area, pay the appropriate transport company.

Q: I want to catch the school bus – who do I contact?
A:
Alex Cars 01285 653985
Cotswold Green 01453 835153
Daves Motors 01285 644644
Ellison’s Coaches 01285 861224
Pulhams 01451 820369
Stagecoach - Cotswolds 01453 755563

Q: What if I miss the bus after school?
A: Go to Reception or the Pastoral Office and you will be able to phone home.

Q: Where do buses pick up and drop off?
A: Buses come on site via the main entrance

Q: I am travelling to school by car, which school entrance do I use?
A: The parents' car park and set down/pick up point is via the second entrance along the Stroud Road, by the tennis courts.

Q: Where can I leave my bike if I cycle to school?
A: There is a large under-cover cycle storage area. We recommend you lock your bike in the racks provided.

If you have reason to think the school may be closed, check to see whether the school is open before setting out.
