School Meals

Q: What time can I get food at school?
Q: Can I bring a packed lunch? Where can I eat it?

Q: What time can I get food at school?
A: Pupils arriving early may like to buy a range of food from the ‘Breakfast Club’ in the Main Hall between 8:30 - 8:45am. The canteen is again open at the mid-day break 11:05 – 11:25 as well as offering a full range of meals at lunchtime.

Dining Room & Atrium Opening times:
08:30 – 08:45 (Big Breakfast)
11:05 – 11:20 (Break time)
12:25 - 13:25 (P1 Lunch)
13:25 - 14:10 (P2 Lunch)

Q: Can I bring a packed lunch? Where can I eat it?
A: Yes. In the Hall or the Atrium

Q: What if I forget my dinner money?
A: Go to the Pastoral Office and ask for a Dinner Pass. The money will have to be paid back the next day.

Q: How do I know what’s on the menu each day?
A: It will be on Daily Despatch each day or see the display board in the foyer.

Q: I don’t want a cooked meal. Can I buy anything else to eat?
A: You can purchase Cakes, Biscuits, etc once you have purchased sandwiches. No crisps or fizzy drinks are available.

Q: I don’t make friends very easily and am a little shy is there anywhere I can go during break and lunch?
A: The Coaching Centre or the PLC

Q: Can I have a “Smart” card to pay for my food in school?
A: If you want a “Smart” card then you should be offered one on your first day. If you do not get a card then see the dinner ladies before school or at lunch and ask for one. The first one you get is free and then they charge £2 for future ones if you break/damage it. When you want to top it up then bring in a cheque and ask for them to put it on your card.
