Q: What times do I go to lessons? What time is break and lunch?
A: Your lunch break will alternate weekly between Period 4 and Period 5 depending if it’s Week 1 or Week 2. Don’t worry about this, you will know when you get your timetable.

0905-1005 Period 1 (P1)
1005-1105 Period 2 (P2)
1105-1125 Break
1125-1225 Period 3 (P3)
1225-1325 Period 4 (P4) or Lunch
1325-1425 Period 5 (P5) or Lunch
1425-1525 Period 6 (P6)
1525 End of School

Q: After holidays how will I know which week it is – Week 1 or Week 2?
A: Bring all your school books and PE kit on the first day back. Your Tutor will inform you which week you will be coming back on before the hols. If you forget, at least you will have everything need for your lessons.

It must seem an awful lot to remember but don’t worry, everyone feels a bit confused at first and all the other pupils manage to get it right. If they can do it, so can you!

Q: What happens if I lose my timetable?
A: Ask your tutor for a copy

Q: Can I leave the lessons to go to the toilet?
A: Make sure you go before registration, during break and lunch time. If you need to go to the toilet during a lesson, ask the teacher.

Q: What languages can I learn in school?
A: In Yr7 you only learn French. From Yr 8 it could be German or Spanish as well.

Q: What day will I have Assembly?
A: Assemblies take place in the Hall.
