Year 7/8 Readathon

Year 7 and Year 8 are taking part in Readathon, the UK's biggest national sponsored reading event.

It gives a massive boost to pupils' reading skills AND supports the life-changing work of two children's charities.

Every year thousands of schools across the UK take part and Cirencester Deer Park School is one of them. We start on Monday 16 May and sponsorship money needs to be back in school by Friday 10 June.

Readathon works like any other sponsored event in that the children read books in exchanges for pledges of money. Please support your child by helping them find sponsors among family and friends, encouraging them to read, and ensuring that they return their sponsorship money by 10 June.
