After-School Primary Activity Courses for Pupils Currently in Years 5 and 6
Cirencester Deer Park School is a Specialist School for Technology, the Arts and Applied Learning, and was judged to be ‘Outstanding’ following our Ofsted Inspection in May 2010. Following the successful launch in November 2009, and the re-launch in September 2010, we are delighted to again be able to offer a range of three after school activities for pupils in Years 5 and 6 at Primary School, running over 6 weeks (with the exception of Photography which runs for 5 weeks) in Term 4 starting during the week commencing Monday 28 February 2011.
The courses on offer for Term 4 are:
Photography |
Music Technology |
Crime Scene Investigation |
The courses are free, and will focus on developing critical and creative thinking skills and promoting effective team work and leadership, problem solving and decision making. We hope that as many pupils as possible will have the opportunity to take part in these courses from as wide a range of Primary Schools as possible.
Full details about each of the courses together with the terms and conditions and a booking form are available below and we encourage you to view the information online as this year in an effort to save paper we will not be issuing the booklet in hard copy to each child. We have however arranged for a copy to be available in Reception at your child’s Primary School if you are unable to view the booklet online. You are encouraged to complete and return an electronic version (available via the website) by email to Allison Boucher on staboucher@deerparkschool.net or the completed version by hand to Reception at Cirencester Deer Park School.
Completed booking forms should be returned as soon as possible, but certainly no later than Tuesday 22 February 2011, to allow places to be confirmed by email, telephone or in writing. We look forward to welcoming your child to Cirencester Deer Park School for one of our Primary Activity Courses.
