ENRICHMENT WEEK
The countdown has begun to our annual Enrichment Week which takes place next week, starting Monday 6th July. Final preparations are being made for Key Stage 3 trips to:
In addition, other pupils will be camping, undertaking water sports, learning advanced cycling skills, having football coaching, learning about health, beauty and fitness, dancing, and visiting a tropical rainforest (in Newbury) to name but some of the activities happening.
Apart from being great fun, all of these trips and activities have educational purposes - whether it be to widen horizons, meet new people, learn new skills or just build confidence. Enrichment Week is a key part of our promise to deliver "more than a visible curriculum" here at Cirencester Deer Park School and gives every child the opportunity to experience new situations outside of the classroom.
Let’s hope the sun shines!
