Remembrance Day

11 November 2011

Pupils and staff joined people across the country in two minutes silence this morning to mark Remembrance Day. A small group of pupils accompanied by Assistant Head, Miss Skerten, performed an Act of Remembrance at the front of the school at 11:00, laying a wreath and lowering a flag whilst the Last Post was played. Many other pupils were able to observe the Act from their classrooms.

Miss Skerten said "The pupils were really moved by participating in the Act of Remembrance and having a bugler on site really made the Remembrance special this year".
