Exam Results Day 2011

Some of our successful pupils this year

25 August 2011

Our congratulations go to the ‘Class of 2011’. We are absolutely thrilled with our pupils’ achievements this year: they, their parents and teachers should feel proud of their results. They have been a strong year group and very supportive of each other. They have responded positively and creatively to new challenges and the pace of learning at Deer Park. These include some exceptional individual results: 29 pupils achieved 8 or more A*-A grades. We wish them every success in their future lives and learning.

In summary, our exam results for the ‘Class of 2011’ are as follows:

  • 87.3% 5 or more A*-C
  • 68.1% 5 or more A*-C including Maths and English
  • 99.5% 5 or more A*-G
  • 99.1% 5 or more A*-G including Maths and English
  • 24.3% A*/A grades
  • 27.2% EBAC.

Pupils in Years 10 and 9 also received their GCSE results in RE, Statistics and Design Short Course as well as for a number of their modules. Again these are very good and show great promise for the future. 85% of candidates in Year 10 achieved a grade C or above in their GCSE RE Short Course and impressively, over 50% secured A* or A grades!

These results reflect the efforts staff at Deer Park go to to ensure all of our pupils are able to achieve their very best.
