Our aim in the Design Faculty is to be able to be creative and experimental in answer to a design problem, to teach making skills, using a variety of different materials and processes, to gain knowledge and understanding about materials and to be able to communicate ideas through drawing and modelling.
Our Faculty is divided into five Departments:

The study of Graphics at Cirencester Deer Park School embraces the full range of Graphic techniques from Drawing and Illustration, Media and Photography through to Printmaking, Modelling and Computer Aided Design >>Read more
Studying Resistant Materials allows pupils to formulate ideas and communicate ideas to others. Pupils work in a range of materials and use both hand and machine tools in an increasing level of difficulty. >> Read more
Through studying Textiles at Deerpark School, pupils learn to be creative and reflective designers. They explore a wide range of techniques and processes, in order to become resourceful practitioners, sharing ideas and inspiration. >>Read more
